Meet Principal Murchison
I am extremely honored to be the educational leader at Zamorano Fine Arts Academy with its rich history in our hometown of San Diego, CA. I have been lucky in my life to have seen much of the world starting from my first hometown, Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, to living in exciting foreign countries like Japan.
It was my parents who showed me the power of an education. I have always wanted to be a teacher, because as a child, I saw education as one of the most powerful tools that a person can obtain. My parents showed me how true those words are, because they both went back to school as working adults to pursue their dreams and make a better life for our family. As a child I was inspired by my parents' passion and dedication to pursue an education. It was extremely powerful to witness the difference an education made for my parents and our family.
I want our students at Zamorano to leave our school with a strong education so they have choices in life, choices of where to go next, and choices about how they will accomplish their goals and dreams. At Zamorano, we do our best work every day for our students, staff, parents and our community to ensure that we help students acquire the skills and tools on which to build a strong educational foundation.
