• Approval of Minutes from February 5, 2019 SSC Meeting

• Review 2019-2020 School Budget approved on February 5, 2019.

• Review 2018-2019 SPSA

• Review ELL Data

• Discussion- Strike one sentence from section 3 SSC Business - “Will make up art in the classroom, PLC LTA program and through art position that is funded by the foundation.”

• Voting - Derek motioned to approve minutes from February 5, 2019 as amended. Laura Lopez-Hudson 2nd.

Motion approved; 7 yes; 0 no; 0 abstain

• Informational - Parents can switch around items within the Parent Involvement Budget. Must be voted on by SSC.

• Informational - SSC has to make sure the budget is beneficial to our school. Use data to monitor the budget to be sure it's working.
• Informational - 63 students reclassified in May. SSC invited to attend the ceremony. This number is right on target. ELPAC summative scores coming out in summer. Admin can help parents interpret results. Derek explained the importance of students being reclassified so that in middle and high school, students have the opportunity to choose electives instead of being required to take additional English development courses. Electives will allow students to be college and career ready.

• Informational - DLAC reps did not attend meeting. Due to weather, no enough people showed up so the meeting will be redone. Minutes will be shared when they come out.

• Leslie Houck motioned to adjourn meeting at 2:39pm. Laura Lopez-Hudson 2nd the motion. Motion approved; 7 yes; 0 no; 0 abstain.
