3. SSC Business

• Approval of Minutes

• Approval of minutes from May 22, 2018 SSC Meeting

• Voting- Under Agenda item #7, change Anabel Lucero to Annette Lucero. Derek Murchison motioned to approve minutes from May 22, 2018. Evelia Cervantes 2nd the motion. Motion approved; 7 yes; 0 no; 0 abstain

4. SSC Business

• Budget Transfers

• Approval of the Budget Transfers

• Voting Item- See budget document entitled “Zamorano ES (0125) Budget” for additional information. We have $3,760.24 debt in Supplies for Title 1 Arts Integration Grant that was supposed to be paid last year by the district. The district did not process it so it hit this years' budget. The grant was for 2 years, and we are now in our 3rd year. Now, the district does not give us the money within our budget, but has continued to pay artist salaries (Arts for Learning), from monies allocated to schools that are still participating from schools that opted out of the program or did not meet requirements. The money from last year went back into the VAPA department. (VAPA has a new director) and Mr. Murchison and Diane have been investigating the whereabouts of the money. In the meantime, we will use money from PLC account to cover the debt.

• Evelia Cervantes made a motion to approve Title 1 budget transfers for 2017-18 to balance account. Anabel Gutierrez 2nd the motion. Motion approved; 8 yes; 0 no; 0 abstain

5. Data Review

• 61/64 students have been reclassified. No additional information to report

6. DAC and ELAC

• Informational: Hjordis Williams

• No more DAC meetings for this year. Ms. Williams forwarded the last meeting notes via email to team.

7. Adjournment

• Next year, we will need 3 members; 1 staff and 2 parents in October

• Evelia Cervantes motioned to adjourn meeting at 2:44 pm. Valerie Sevilla 2nd the motion. Motion approved; 8 yes; 0 No; 0 abstain.
